Post Chemistry: The Contemplation of Abstract Memories

Curatorial Statement
In the series of work, my painting is a stage where characters come to life, not as humans but as objects that exist in a space between abstraction and reality. This blurred line encourages viewers to create their own connections and narratives.
Stones, rainbows, smoke, limbs, and plants-these elements draw inspiration from timeless themes found in childhood tales, biblical stories, ancient mythology, and my own biography.
These stories are remnants of our past, carried with us to draw wisdom and make sense of our reality. Yet, these stories can blur, metamorphose, and even become nonsensical, prevailing through our ever-evolving or devolving minds, bringing new meaning to our present.
This serves as a backdrop to the characters I create, offering a sense of familiar while inviting deeper exploration. Through a blend of muted and vivid colors, and a variety of textures, I strive to create a dreamlike atmosphere that captures the viewer’s imagination. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and embark on journey of discovery.
